How we compare Irish formation packages

A shortlist for founders, with evidence beside the price.

We compare three published LTD formation packages from Company Bureau, Irish Formations and Company Formations International. These providers are starting options for research; the list is not an exhaustive market survey. A package is useful when it fits your circumstances, not simply because it has the smallest headline figure.

How we collect and label information.

We record the provider, package name, published price, stated VAT treatment, source URL and date checked. We separate confirmed inclusions from details that remain unresolved. We keep a tax label beside every price and avoid treating VAT-exclusive and VAT-inclusive figures as identical final totals.

Where a source does not establish tax treatment or scope, the table says to confirm it. We do not interpret silence as proof that a service is excluded. A price source may be a provider's dated PDF; it is useful evidence, but the provider must confirm the current order total.

Why three headline figures do not produce a winner.

Compare the same company type, document preference, address and secretary needs, filing scope and support. Ask which services are one-off, which repeat and which remain your responsibility. We do not assign a universal best-provider score, claim a cheapest market price or imply that buying a larger package guarantees a better registration result.

Provider order is editorial and does not rank service quality. No customer ratings or experiences are invented. Any future paid placement or referral relationship must be disclosed before it influences the page.

What is original in this comparison?

The comparison brings package evidence into one decision table, distinguishes unresolved information, and pairs it with a practical preparation worksheet. Our cost guide includes clearly hypothetical arithmetic to explain first-year and renewal comparisons. Those invented examples are not provider quotes.

Review and corrections.

The current price sources were checked on 9 October 2026. Prices and package scope are scheduled for monthly source checks and checks after a provider reports a change. A review date changes only after the underlying information is checked; a rebuild alone does not count as a review.
